In this field of study the classical Uzbek, Arabic and Persian languages, the past literary and cultural heritage created in these languages are studied from the point of view of source and textual literature, the history of oriental literature, historical linguistics, history of written literary languages , the language of ancient written monuments; text translation and interpretation; the principles of the studied language and literature methodology, teaching skills, speech culture are taught.
